Biological activity:

Estetrol is a natural estrogen synthesized by the human fetal liver during pregnancy and a selective nuclear estrogen receptor (estrogenreceptor) modulator. Estetrol exerts estrogenic effects on the endometrium or central nervous system but has antagonistic effects on the breast.
